This is Milltek's active valve control system for the Lotus Emira 3.5L V6 Supercharged. It adds an electronically-operated valve to an existing Milltek system, opening a second, less restrictive path through the silencer that stays closed for a refined, near-standard tone around town and opens under load or at the press of a button for a louder, more open sound. It's offered in plug and play remote control system for OE and milltek sport exhausts or V2 plug and play remote control system for OE and milltek sport exhausts versions, so you can pick the setup that suits how the car's used.
It's the option to go for if you want the flexibility to keep the car quiet for early starts and long motorway runs, then switch to the full exhaust note whenever you actually want to hear it, without swapping any hardware.
