This is Milltek's cat-back system for the Volkswagen Golf Mk5 2.0 TDI 140PS. It replaces everything from the factory catalytic converter rearward with wider-bore pipework, a re-profiled mid-pipe and silencers tuned specifically for this platform, cutting back pressure and sharpening the exhaust note. The factory catalytic converter stays in place, so the car's emissions hardware is left as standard. It's offered in 4 tailpipe finishes and a choice of style (Edition 30, R32), so you can pick the setup that suits how the car's used.
It's aimed at owners who want a noticeably different sound and a genuine, if modest, flow improvement without touching anything upstream of the cat: a straightforward bolt-on that doesn't need a remap or any other supporting mods to enjoy.

Installation
Milltek quotes a fitting time of approx. 1 to 1.5 hours. Please note (some versions): +0.5 to 1.0 hours for valance fitting depending if mudguards are fitted. Some versions: Edition 30-style with Cerakote Black Tips. Non-resonated (louder). Requires GTi rear valance. Some versions: Edition 30-style with Polished Tips. Non-resonated (louder). Requires GTi rear valance. Some versions: Edition 30-style with Titanium Tips. Non-resonated (louder). Requires GTi rear valance. Some versions: R32-style. Non-resonated (louder). Must be fitted with an R32 rear valance. We recommend professional fitting on a ramp. Once fitted, check the tailpipe alignment and re-check all clamps after the first few hundred miles.
Which tailpipe finishes are available?
You can choose from: GT-80 Cerakote Black, GT-80 Polished, GT-80 Titanium, GT-100 Polished. The finish is cosmetic and does not change the sound.
