This is Milltek's HJS Tuning ECE downpipe set for the BMW 4 Series F32 & F33 M440i Coupe & Grand Coupe (xDrive & non xDrive Models). These replace the factory downpipes with HJS high-flow sports catalysts that carry full ECE type-approval, so you get a genuine flow improvement over the restrictive factory units without taking the car outside emissions compliance.
They're aimed at drivers who want more from the downpipes than the standard units allow, but need the car to stay legally usable on the road and pass an emissions test, which a straight de-cat pipe won't do.
Because they're type-approved, these can be run on a car that's used on the road, unlike a straight de-cat pipe.

Installation
Milltek quotes a fitting time of approx. 2 to 2.5 hours. This work involves removing parts close to the turbo and engine, so we recommend fitting by a specialist with a ramp and suitable software support.
