Milltek Decat Downpipe for Hyundai i20 N 1.6 T-GDi 204PS OPF/GPF 2021 onwards
This is Milltek's large-bore downpipe and de-cat for the Hyundai/Kia i20 N 1.6 T-GDi 204PS (OPF/GPF Equipped Cars Only). It replaces the factory downpipe with a large-bore pipe and removes the catalytic converter.
Because it removes the catalytic converter, it's intended for off-road and competition use. Missing or modified manufacturer-fitted emissions equipment, such as the catalytic converter, is a major defect at the MOT, so the car isn't road legal set up this way.

Is it road legal?
No. A missing catalytic converter is a major defect at the MOT, so it is for off-road and competition use only.
Do I need a remap?
Speak to your tuner before fitting, as removing the catalytic converter changes the readings the engine management expects.
Can I use it with my standard exhaust?
Yes. Milltek lists it for use with the factory (OE) exhaust system.
Will removing the cat cause a warning light?
Without suitable software it is likely to, as the ECU expects the readings a working catalyst gives.
How long does it take to fit?
Milltek quotes approx. 3 to 4 hours.
What is it made from?
T304L aircraft-grade stainless steel, which Milltek says resists degradation and discolouration better than many other grades.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Milltek's guarantee is 2 years or 80,000km for downpipes, hi-flow catalysts and parts with valves, 2 years for electronic products, and lifetime for its other products. Milltek's Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable, and other terms apply. Contact us with your order number if you have a problem.
