This is Milltek's rear silencer for the BMW 1 Series 120i & 125i (F20 & F21 - B48 Engine Only inc OPF Models). It's a standalone replacement for the rear silencer only, swapping it for a version tuned for a different sound without changing anything further forward in the system. It's offered in non-resonated or resonated EC approved versions, valved or non-valved versions and 7 tailpipe finishes, so you can pick the setup that suits how the car's used.
It's for owners looking to fine-tune the exhaust note at the tailpipe end, typically alongside an existing cat-back or axle-back system, rather than a complete exhaust upgrade on its own.

Installation
Milltek quotes a fitting time of approx. 1 to 1.5 hours. We recommend professional fitting on a ramp. Once fitted, check the tailpipe alignment and re-check all clamps after the first few hundred miles.
What's the difference between the resonated and non-resonated versions?
The resonated version adds extra silencing for a quieter, more refined tone. The non-resonated version leaves it out, so it is louder and more aggressive.
Should I choose the valved or non-valved version?
The valved version lets you switch between a quieter tone and the full exhaust note. Choose non-valved if you want the same sound all the time.
Which tailpipe finishes are available?
You can choose from: GT-80 Cerakote Black, GT-80 Polished, GT-90 Burnt Titanium, GT-90 Cerakote Black, GT-90 Polished, GT-90 Titanium, JET-90 Carbon Fibre. The finish is cosmetic and does not change the sound.
