Match the part to your SQ5 engine
Each SQ5 part is listed for one engine, so check yours before ordering. The supercharged 3.0 TFSI from 2013 to 2016 has the SQ5 cat-back exhaust, offered with GT-100 tips in polished, Cerakote black, titanium or burnt titanium, or a JET-100 in carbon fibre. The Bi-TDI diesel from 2014 to 2016 takes Active Sound Control, which uses a sound generator to give the diesel a sportier voice without changing the exhaust.
SQ5 3.0 TFSI V6 turbo from 2017
The later petrol SQ5 has a sports cat downpipe, which keeps a catalyst, and a de-cat downpipe, which does not and is for off-road and competition use only; it will fail an MOT emissions test. Plan for an ECU remap with either downpipe. The resonator bypass is a louder, motorsport-oriented option, and Active Valve Control is listed for the same car.
