F56 Cooper S listings are split by market and year. UK and European pre-LCI cars (2014-18) have a cat-back, HJS Tuning ECE downpipes, a sports cat downpipe and a de-cat downpipe. Rest-of-world cars from 2014 have their own cat-back, sports cat downpipe and de-cat downpipe.
UK and European LCI cars with an OPF/GPF come in two versions: 2019-20 cars, and 2020-24 cars listed as having 70mm OE pipework. Each has its own cat-back, filter-back system, HJS ECE downpipes, large-bore downpipe and sports cat downpipe, so check your build date or use the reg lookup before ordering.
Milltek for the F55 five-door and JCW GP3
The F55 Cooper S five-door hatch has two sets of listings. Rest-of-world and North American cars from 2014 have a cat-back, sports cat downpipe and de-cat downpipe, while UK and European LCI cars with an OPF/GPF (2019 on) have a cat-back, filter-back system, HJS ECE downpipes, large-bore downpipe and sports cat downpipe.
The UK and European JCW GP3 with an OPF/GPF (2020 on) has a cat-back, filter-back system, large-bore downpipe and sports cat downpipe. For the F56 Cooper 1.5T (pre-LCI, 2014-18), there is a single de-cat downpipe.
Downpipes and remaps for the Mk3 Mini
HJS Tuning ECE downpipes and sports cat downpipes keep a catalyst in the system. De-cat downpipes are for off-road and competition use only and will fail an MOT emissions test. Many downpipes are offered in two versions, one to suit the OE cat-back and one for a Milltek cat-back, so choose the one that matches your car. Most downpipe upgrades need an ECU remap; the full choice across makes is in manifolds, de-cats and sports cats.
Resonated, valved and tip options for the F55 and F56
Cat-backs and filter-backs come resonated or non-resonated: resonated is quieter, with less drone at motorway speeds, and some resonated versions are listed as EC approved.
