Primary or secondary cat-back for the GT-R R35?
The R35 runs two sets of catalysts. The secondary cat-back starts behind the secondary cats, so every catalyst stays in place, and it is the choice for a road car. The primary cat-back starts further forward, behind the primary cats, so it replaces the secondary cat section and is the louder, motorsport-oriented option. Both are non-resonated and finish in GT-127 tips in polished or titanium finishes, with a brushed titanium option on one system; see our tip styles page.
Are the GT-R catalyst replacement pipes road legal?
No: the primary catalyst replacement pipes and the secondary catalyst bypass both remove catalysts, so they are for off-road and competition use only, will fail an MOT emissions test and need an ECU remap. Find other de-cats and sports cats in our catalyst range.
