Megane RS 225 and R26: cat-back or turbo-back?

The 225 and the 230 Renault F1 Team R26 and R26R have the same choices in separate listings: a cat-back, a cat replacement pipe, and a turbo-back system either with a hi-flow sports cat or with no cat. The cat-back is the simplest upgrade, while the turbo-back systems replace everything from the turbo back.

Megane RS 2010-2017, 280 and RS300 Trophy

For the 2010-2017 cars, including Cup and Trophy-R, there is a cat-back plus turbo-back systems with a sports cat or with no cat. Each turbo-back type has two listings with different part numbers (SSXRN417 and SSXRN419 with sports cat, SSXRN418 and SSXRN420 with no cat), so compare the details on each. The later cars have one listing each: a Megane 280 cat-back for non-OPF/GPF cars and an RS300 Trophy filter-back system that keeps the factory filter.

Catalysts, resonators and road use on the Megane RS

Turbo-back systems with a hi-flow sports cat keep a catalyst. Cat replacement pipes and the no-cat turbo-back systems are for off-road and competition use only and will fail an MOT emissions test, and most will need an ECU remap. Some systems are offered non-resonated or resonated; where offered, the resonated option is listed as EC Approved and is the quieter choice, with less drone. More front-section parts are in manifolds, de-cats and sports cats.
