Mk2 Leon FR 2.0 TFSI and TDI
The 2.0 TFSI 200-211PS (2006-2013) has the widest choice: a cat-back, cast downpipes with an HJS sports cat or a race cat, a de-cat downpipe and a race rear silencer delete, which is a louder, motorsport-oriented part. The 2.0 TDI 170PS with DPF (2005-2013) has a cat-back.
Mk3 and Mk4 Leon FR: matching engine and body
Mk3 cat-backs fit the SC three-door and the five-door hatch, and are listed by engine: 1.4 TSI and 1.8 TSI 180PS (2013-2018), and 2.0 TDI 150PS or 184PS, manual or DSG (2013-2020). The 1.4 TSI also has HJS Tuning ECE downpipes, which keep a catalyst but usually need an ECU remap.
For the Mk4 hatch, the 1.5 eTSI filter-back fits behind the particulate filter, which stays in place.
Sound and tips for your Leon FR
Systems are offered resonated, non-resonated or Road+ part-resonated depending on the car; resonated is the quietest, with the least motorway drone. Tips include GT-80 in polished, titanium or Cerakote black, polished and black ovals, and a Cupra-style special oval; see our tip styles. The de-cat downpipe is for off-road and competition use only and will fail an MOT emissions test. Cupra owners should head to the Leon Cupra collection.
