GT86 2.0: primary cat-back, secondary cat-back or over-pipe
The GT86 has two catalysts. The secondary cat-back begins behind the second one, so both catalysts stay, and it suits a road car. The primary cat-back begins behind the first and replaces the secondary cat section, so it is the louder, motorsport-oriented option. The GT86 over-pipe is sold separately; its product page explains how it works with your system. The Subaru BRZ shares this platform but has its own listings.
The GR86 2.4 secondary cat-back
The 2.4 litre GR86 has one system, the GR86 secondary cat-back, which keeps both catalysts. Across the range you can choose resonated, quieter with less drone, or non-resonated, and tips include GT-115s and GT-100s in polished, titanium, brushed or burnt titanium and Cerakote black, plus JET-115 carbon fibre.
