Which Arteon 2.0 TSI 280PS listing fits your car?
Arteon 280PS parts come in three groups, so match yours before ordering. Cars built from 2017 to 2019 without a particulate filter are listed as non-OPF/GPF, and those from 2019 on as OPF/GPF. Each of these groups has a cat-back, Active Valve Control, a sports cat downpipe and a de-cat downpipe.
The third group is North American cars from 2022 with non-valved downturn tips, which have their own cat-back plus sports cat and de-cat downpipes. No valve control is listed for this version.
Arteon R, downpipes and valve control
The Arteon R 320PS with OPF/GPF (2022 on) has a single filter-back system. On the 280PS, sports cats keep a catalyst, while de-cats are for off-road and competition use only and fail an MOT emissions test; some cat options also include a GPF delete, which is a louder, motorsport-oriented choice. Most downpipes need an ECU remap.
Active Valve Control lets you open the valves on demand. Systems come resonated, non-resonated or part-resonated Road+, and tip options include polished and Cerakote Black ovals; see tip styles.
