RS7 C8: OPF/GPF or non-OPF?
Start by checking whether your C8 RS7 has a particulate filter. Filtered cars, which include UK and European models, use the OPF/GPF listings: a standard filter-back, a Titanium Signature Series filter-back, a front pipe-back system, front silencers and a Titanium Signature Series axle-back upgrade kit. US and rest-of-world cars without the filter use the non-OPF listings, where the choice is a cat-back system plus downpipes. Order from the group that matches your car.
RS7 C7 Sportback: cat-back, full system and tips
The 2013 to 2018 C7 can have a cat-back or a full system. Resonated versions are the more relaxed choice for long motorway trips, non-resonated versions are louder, and a Road+ part-resonated option appears on some listings. Sports cat downpipes and cat bypass for the RS7
Downpipes are listed for the C7, the C8 OPF/GPF and the non-OPF C8, in sports cat form and with a cat bypass. The sports cat versions keep a catalyst; the bypass versions do not, so they are strictly for off-road and competition use and will fail an MOT emissions test. RS7 valve control, trims and suspension
Active Valve Control has one listing for the C7 and one for the C8 OPF/GPF. C8 OPF/GPF owners can also add carbon fibre trims and rear trim finisher plates, and the C7 has an Active Suspension Control unit. The RS6 shares the same 4.0 V8 and a closely matched range, while the S7 covers the 4.0 TFSI S model.
