Audi S6 C7 4.0 TFSI: cat-back and valves
S6 cat-back systems come resonated, non-resonated or Road+ part resonated, depending on the listing. Resonated is the quieter choice with less drone at motorway speeds, non-resonated is the loudest, and Road+ sits between the two. The C7 system can be ordered valved or non-valved, with GT-100 tips in polished, Cerakote black or titanium.

S6 C7 downpipes: sports cat or cat bypass?
Both downpipe types come in two fitments, one for the standard Audi exhaust and one for a Milltek cat-back, so pick the version that matches what is on the car. Sports cat downpipes keep a catalyst. Downpipes with cat bypass have none: they are for off-road and competition use only and will fail an MOT emissions test. Expect to need an ECU remap with either. Audi S6 C6 V10 and C8 TDI
The C6 S6 with the 5.2 V10 has its own cat-back system for 2006 to 2012 cars. For the diesel C8 S6 3.0 TDI Saloon and Avant from 2019, Milltek offers Active Sound Control, a sound generator that gives the engine a stronger voice while the standard exhaust stays in place. The S7 range mirrors much of the C7 line-up.
