Mk8 Fiesta ST-Line: OPF/GPF or non-OPF/GPF?
The Mk8 1.0T EcoBoost ST-Line, three or five door, is split in two. Cars from 2017 to 2019 without a particulate filter take a cat-back, while OPF/GPF cars from 2019 (100 and 125PS) and the 155PS Hybrid from 2020 take a filter-back, which replaces the exhaust behind the factory filter and leaves the filter in place. Look for OPF/GPF or Non-OPF/GPF in the listing title before you order.
Each group has a standard system and a Maxton dual outlet version, plus a cat-back upgrade kit for the Maxton dual outlet layout. Some systems give a choice of a single tip or ST-style twin tips, and the upgrade kits are listed to suit either the OE system or a Milltek system.
Mk6, Mk7 and Mk7.5 Fiesta exhausts
The Mk6 Zetec S 1.6 16v has a cat-back. The Mk7 1.6 Duratec Ti-VCT and Zetec S have a front pipe back system, offered for use with the OEM downpipe and catalyst or with a Milltek manifold and cat or cat bypass. The Mk7 and Mk7.5 1.0T EcoBoost in 100, 125 and 140PS form has a cat-back, a sports cat downpipe and a de-cat downpipe.
Fiesta downpipes, sound levels and tips
Sports cat downpipes keep a catalyst. The de-cat downpipes for the Mk7 and Mk8 1.0T are for off-road and competition use only and will fail an MOT emissions test, and the Mk8 cast race cat downpipe is a louder, motorsport-oriented option. Most downpipes need an ECU remap. Resonated systems are the quietest, with less motorway drone, non-resonated are the loudest and Road+ part resonated sits between them. Tips include GT-90 and GT-100 in polished, titanium and Cerakote Black, plus JET carbon: see tip styles. For the hot hatch, browse the Fiesta ST collection.
