Which Fiesta ST do you have? Mk6, Mk7 or Mk8

Every listing names the generation, engine and years, so start there. The Mk6 ST 150 (2005-08) has the widest spread of parts: a cat-back, a full exhaust with sports cat, a free-flow manifold, a hi-flow sports cat, a cat replacement pipe and a flexible pipe, so a system can be built up piece by piece. The Mk7 and Mk7.5 ST 1.6 EcoBoost (2013-17) uses one set of parts for both the 182PS car and the ST200: a cat-back, a rear silencer delete, a sports cat downpipe and a de-cat downpipe. North American five-door Mk7 STs from 2014 have their own cat-back, listed as 5dr NA.

The Mk8 ST 1.5 EcoBoost 200PS is split at September 2020. Mk8 cars built before that date and Mk8 and Mk8.5 cars built after it each have their own cat-back, downpipe, GPF/OPF bypass, Active Valve Control kit and Maxton dual outlet upgrade kit with GT-100 tips, so check when your car was built before you order.

Mk8 Fiesta ST cat-backs, valve control and tips

Fiesta ST cat-backs come in resonated and non-resonated forms, with race versions on some listings. Resonated is the quieter choice, with less drone on the motorway; non-resonated and race versions are louder. Milltek's Active Valve Control gives you a say in how the Mk8's exhaust valve behaves. Some Mk8 parts are listed to fit either the OE system or a Milltek cat-back, so pick the fitment option that matches your car.

Tip choices across the range include GT-80, GT-90 and GT-100 in polished, titanium, burnt titanium and black finishes, plus JET carbon fibre trims. Compare them on our tip styles page.

Are Fiesta ST downpipes and de-cats road legal?

The Mk7 sports cat downpipe and the Mk6 hi-flow sports cat keep a catalyst. The Mk7 de-cat downpipe, the Mk6 cat replacement pipe and any Mk8 part ordered as a de-cat are for off-road and competition use only and will fail an MOT emissions test. The GPF/OPF bypass pipes, GPF delete options, the rear silencer delete and race-spec systems are louder, motorsport-oriented parts. Most downpipes need an ECU remap. The Puma ST shares the 1.5 EcoBoost 200PS, and non-ST cars are covered in the Fiesta collection.
